I'm an IT Professional, a baseball lover, Open Source enthusiast, forever a tinkerer, an aRPG and TCG enjoyer, and a metalhead. Among other things, I'm very passionate about security and privacy, Linux and open source software, self-hosting, self-improvement, and continuous learning.
Work-wise, I'm especially passionate about network security, linux systems, and automation. I have experience with Cisco routers and switches, Debian based and immutable systems, container orchestration, and have leveraged bash scripts and Python in my current and past roles. I love config files and reproducable environments, mentoring, sharing knowledge and everything related to DevOps. I've previously worked as a freelance Wordpress/PHP Developer. I'm currently working as a Systems Engineer and Consultant for a public school district and open to part-time remote opportunities that will allow me to leverage my skills and interests.
